An assortment of wild flowers are left for Nerva at her door, along with an attached note from Twisted Fate.
Nerva,
When I said "thank you", I'm certain you know that I was sincere. I want to make sure that it's ensured for every ounce of the word. Thank you for thinking of me, and for your trust.
She picked up the flowers without even thinking about them, assuming that they were for someone else and simply misplaced, so she was already half way back down the hall before she checked the card to see where she should be delivering them - and stopped.
She stared at the note for a long time, frowning, not really paying attention to whatever else was going on.
She couldn't rememeber the last time anyone had gotten her flowers. For anything.
She swallowed down the strange lump in her throat and leaned in to take a cautious sniff of the flowers (they smelled beautifully), and then carefully pocketed the note.
The flowers were still in her hands, and she stood there for far too long as she tried to decide what to do with them. Water-- yes. Water was probably. A good idea. And easier to think about than anything else.

Know that I return that trust as well.
